Variable Area/Rotameters Flow Meter and Switches
Variable area flow meters, commonly known as rotameters, operate on the principle of a float moving freely within a conical tube to balance the gravitational force and the force of the fluid flow. Designs with glass or plastic tubing allow for direct observation of the media flow. Rotameters are a popular choice for simple, yet accurate, flow measurement tasks.
