Vibrating Level Switch - NWS

Universal Use in Tanks or Pipelines

The KOBOLD NWS liquid level switch is designed as a 2 and 3 wire switch that can be used universally in tanks and pipelines. Common application media includes: oils, foamed oils, water, paint, transparent ink, sauce, milk, and liquids with carbon dioxide. It can be used in hygienic and sterile applications with CIP cycles up to 300 °F.

2 or 3 Wire Mode

The NWS is available with a solid-state switch that can be used in a 2-wire or 3-wire mode. The 2-wire configuration can switch loads up to 240 VAC at 0.5 amps, while the 3-wire system switches a DC voltage when activated. An additional LED also signals the status of the switch and verifies the power to the switch’s terminals.

Specifications

The NWS is made of 316 stainless steel and offers a maximum pressure of 650 PSIG and a maximum temperature of 265 °F. It can handle liquids with a viscosity from 0.5 to 5,000 cSt. Available fittings types include: NPT, Tri-Clamp, and ANSI flange.
