Paddle Wheel Flow Meters Switches

Paddle wheel and Pelton wheel flow meters measure flow rate from the rotational speed of a wheel placed in the liquid stream. They are intended for clean, low-viscosity liquids, and the simple design keeps cost, installation effort, and maintenance low.

Both types can also provide a visual indication of flow. Their use is limited by liquid cleanliness and viscosity, but within those limits they are an economical option for basic flow measurement.
