The magnetic coupling transmission isolates the indicator from process media while maintaining measurement accuracy of ±0.2 inches (±5 mm).

Constructed with corrosion-resistant stainless steel (Hastelloy® optional), the BA handles process temperatures from -40°F to 482°F (-40°C to 250°C), with high-temperature options reaching 572°F (300°C). The robust design withstands pressures up to 580 PSI (40 bar) and accommodates liquid densities from 25 to 125 lb/ft³ (400 to 2000 g/L). The clear 90-degree analog scale provides immediate visual level indication without requiring auxiliary power, ensuring continuous monitoring even during power interruptions.

While the mechanical indicator requires no power for local display, optional electronic transmitters enable comprehensive remote monitoring. Available configurations include 4-20 mA output with HART® protocol for digital communication, PROFIBUS-PA for seamless automation integration, and inductive limit switches for level alarm functions. The ES transmitter option provides ±0.2% accuracy with intrinsically safe certification for hazardous areas.
