The KOBOLD NCP magnetic float level switches use a hermetically sealed reed contact actuated by a magnet embedded within the polypropylene float. As the float level rises and falls, the changing magnetic field causes the switch inside the polypropylene stem to either open or close. The NCP is available in either a top-mount or a side-mount level switch version. The NCP-2554 float switch is field selectable for normally open (N/O) or normally closed (N/C) switch operation by simply removing the retaining ring and inverting the float. The use of polypropylene stem and float construction gives the NCP excellent chemical resistance properties.
