Transform complex process signals into clear, actionable visual data with the ADI-1 Universal Indicating Unit. Engineered for industrial environments demanding reliable signal monitoring, this versatile display controller combines a high-visibility 55-point LED bar graph with a 5-digit digital display to deliver instant process status at a glance.
The ADI-1 excels where standard indicators fall short, providing simultaneous analog and digital visualization that helps operators identify trends and anomalies faster. The circular 270° bar graph offers intuitive process monitoring while the 14mm LED digits ensure readability from distances up to 5 meters, even in challenging lighting conditions.
Designed to accept multiple input types including 0-20mA, 4-20mA, 0-10V, and frequency signals up to 100kHz, the ADI-1 eliminates the need for multiple display units in complex control panels. User-configurable scaling with 30 linearization points accommodates non-linear sensors without external signal conditioning.
With IP65 front panel protection and operating temperatures from -4°F to 140°F (field housing version), the ADI-1 maintains reliable performance in harsh conditions where moisture, dust, and temperature extremes challenge standard instrumentation. The rugged Noryl housing with EPDM sealing resists chemical exposure common in process industries.
Two programmable relay outputs with changeover contacts handle up to 250VAC/5A loads, enabling direct control of alarms, pumps, or valves without additional relay modules. Independent hysteresis and time delays for each alarm prevent nuisance tripping from signal noise.
Choose between panel mounting for control room integration or field housing options with wall or pipe mounting for point-of-use display. The pluggable terminal connections simplify installation and maintenance, accepting wire sizes up to 2.5mm² for reliable industrial wiring practices.
Optional sensor power supply (24VDC/50mA, 12VDC/50mA, or 5VDC/20mA) directly powers 2-wire transmitters, reducing wiring complexity and component count. The integrated totalizer function with configurable time base enables flow totalization and batch counting applications without external counters.
The ADI-1 serves critical monitoring needs in water treatment facilities tracking flow rates and tank levels, manufacturing plants monitoring pressure and temperature, HVAC systems displaying differential pressures, and chemical processing operations requiring precise batch control. The versatile configuration accommodates virtually any 4-20mA or voltage-output sensor in your facility.
