The economical MIM all-metal electromagnetic flow meter, also known as a magmeter or magnetic inductive flow meter, measures and monitors very small to medium sized flows of conductive liquids. It offers low flow ranges not available with similar devices. It includes an IO-Link to meet Industry 4.0 requirements. It is made completely of stainless steel and offers a wide variety of functionality not offered by similar models. In addition to integrated temperature measurement, the MIM can be used for very small nominal pipe sizes and covers an even larger measuring range. The MIM has two individually configurable outputs that can act as a pulse, alarm, or analog output, depending on the setting. This makes it easier to integrate into different processes or auxiliary circuits. It can be programmed easily with just a few steps in the menu, accessed by the hot-key buttons. Functions, such as partial totalizer display, temperature measurement, or maximum flow can be applied to the hot-keys so there is no need to navigate through multiple levels in the menu. The multi-line digital LCD display offers a better view than other comparable devices and displays the corresponding unit, or other information, in addition to the measured value. For instance, the display color changes when a certain flow rate has been reached. As a result, it is apparent from a distance when a certain amount has been batched or when a limit has been exceeded.

The compact size enables simple and easy installation, even in tight fitting pipe systems. The MIM delivers an exceptional response time that facilitates even more precise batching capabilities. The desired dose can be conveniently selected by optical buttons on the home screen of the display and the batching process can be started and stopped through an external control input and the quantity can be changed at any time. The MIM also comes in a remote version to accommodate hot media and environments that are temperature-controlled. Unlike other conventional devices, the part in contact with the media only contains the sensor. With the MIM, all the electronics, the control and display, are housed apart from the sensor unit, via a cable. This allows the MIM to excel with temperatures from -40 to 284 degrees fahrenheit.
